SvN was honoured to host a talk for BEAT on January 19th that presented our firm's approach to design while demonstrating our firm's unique leadership style. BEAT is a volunteer-run organization made up of architects, designers, leaders, and entrepreneurs creating opportunities for community-building, advocacy, networking, and mentorship by empowering women in the design community.

Our session featured SvN Principals Shonda Wang and Liana Bresler, together with Senior Associates Andrea Gaus, Danielle Whitley and Lina Al-Dajani. Together, we presented recent SvN projects that illustrate our firm's values and how they impact several of our projects and their communities. Being an interdisciplinary design practice is the ability to integrate several different elements successfully. This session will focus on the theme of "integration" through four distinct aspects that relate to programmatic use, collaborators, stakeholders and the office culture of SvN itself.
