Drew Sinclair Speaks at TSA’s Urban Affairs Forum on Housing

Housing is a fundamental human right, and yet an increasing number of residents across the Greater Toronto Area are struggling to pay rent or find an affordable place to live. Solving a complex and far-reaching crisis will require a multi-pronged approach that addresses its root causes. On January 25th, Managing Partner Drew Sinclair presented several SvN approaches to resolving Toronto's housing affordability crisis through our firm's ongoing projects at a Toronto Society of Architect's Urban Affairs Forum. As part of the DesignTO Fesitval's 2022 programming lineup, Drew joined Frank Clayton, Senior Research Fellow, Centre for Urban Research and Land Development, Ryerson University and Salima Rawji, Vice President of Development for CreateTO, to discuss a path forward to resolving rising rental and ownership costs.
