SvN finds new ways for churches in Canada to stay relevant
SvN on City TV Winnipeg
City TV Winnipeg spoke with Barbara Myers on SvN’s work helping places of worship in Canada to revitalize their buildings and land. The Augustine Centre in Winnipeg will be able to renovate the building so that it can act as a concert hall, early learning child care centre and outreach facility for the homeless. Joe Bova and SvN have jointly been preparing materials, making presentations and assisting with the fundraising efforts (both public and private).
“This particular project is a very special initiative and we’re hoping for support from the community. We’re excited about the fact that this church still can serve a meaningful purpose in the community,” said Jeff Carter, Council Chair of Augustine United Church.
