Senior Associate John Peterson Co-Leading the Climate Jam at the RAIC Conference on Architecture
At its core, the climate crisis is a human problem. The need for climate action and the necessary technology have long been identified and available. What then is needed to accelerate the scale and pace of progress? Drawing on climate change communications and engagement research literature, the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada has framed its climate action planning as a suite of communications and convening activities rather than a set of technology-centric approaches.
At this year’s Royal Architectural Institute of Canada Conference on Architecture, and as part of the RAIC Climate Action Engagement and Enablement Plan Steering Committee, Senior Associate John Peterson will be co-leading the Climate Jam session alongside Keith Robertson, Mona Lemoine, Joanne Perdue and Giovanna Boniface. They will discuss the organization’s work towards a Climate Action Engagement and Enablement Plan (CAEEP) and engage participants for feedback and contributions.
